i know you are going to be needing some good books to read over Thanksgiving break so I am only going to share ones I really liked.
i don’t want you wasting a nice long holiday weekend on a blah book.
i loved this book. i thought it was so so interesting. if you know of anyone that has had a stroke and you want to learn more read this book. my dad had a stroke a couple of years ago and this gave me such a better understanding of what he was going through.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
this book was so fascinating to me…and so disturbing as well to learn how a hospital, medical community and scientific researches just took advantage of those that did not know better.
makes you sad to think that this happened in America in 1951
this has been one of the most heart touching books i have ever read. and her vast love for Jesus. ah. i loved this book.
Fearless: The Heroic Story of One Navy SEAL’s Sacrifice in the Hunt for Osama Bin Laden and the Unwavering Devotion of the Woman Who Loved Him
oh my gosh this book. the tears. the love. the life. the strength.
the men and woman who serve our country.
another Must Read!
i just realized i had a bit of a pattern going here…
memoirs…i have to admit they are my favorite reads.
Happy Reading Friends.
