Hubby was having a bunch of his family over for dinner and making one family member work for it…aka Electrician Tommy Thank You. Last night was Tuesday night so Mommy is gone. Gone out to dinner with a group of ladies from my Tuesday night Bible Study Group. We went out to a nice dinner – sitting outside ahhhhh…so nice….discussing our next study. I think we are going to do this Beth Moore Study on Esther. Super excited.
Ok back to the food. I asked Hubby what he would like me to make for his family. Which would have to be another crock pot – slow cooker meal. I can’t decide what I want to call it. So I made this stroganoff a while ago – pre blog – so thought perfect to make again…and Hubby really liked it and perfect to feed the 9 people who were going to be over for dinner! Not so perfect that my Tuesday night meals I make I don’t get any pictures of cause they eat it ALL! LOL I am so happy when a meal turns out good and everyone eats!

Slow Cooker Ground Beef Stroganoff
- 2lb ground beef
- 2 Medium onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can sliced mushrooms (drained)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup beef bouillon
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4oz cream cheese
- 1 bag egg noodles
|Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain and put into slow cooker. |
Drizzle some evoo (extra virgin olive oil) in skillet saute onions until light brown.
Add minced garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and saute till for 1-2 minutes.
Add to slow cooker.
|Stir together sour cream and flour. |
In a large glass measuring cup add beef bouillon, tomato paste and salt.
Mix both to beef mixture in slow cooker.
Cut up cream cheese into pieces and place on top.
|Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. |
Before serving stir. Serve over egg noodles. Enjoy.
