homemade eye makeup remover

in tidbits

I am on this mission to try to make more stuff homemade.

healthier.

better for me.

better for my family.

the one i wanted to share with you is this eye makeup remover that i made….months and months ago

and have been loving.

it is SO easy.

AND

ridiculously cheap. like crazy cheap.

i will tell you something. i will never be buying eye makeup remover again.

i first found this link at Money Saving Mom perfect title for my mission.

which her website takes you to Kristanlynn.com photo is from her website as well.

homemeade eye makeup remover

this has only 3 ingredients. Yes 3. That is it.

and again this works. I wear eye shadow, liquid eye liner, mascara and eyebrow powder – and it removes it ALL.

1 C water
1½ TBSP Baby Shampoo(tear free)- I used Burt Bee’s Tear Free Shampoo
⅛ TSP Baby Oil

I mixed this all together and then added to my old bottle of eye makeup remover I had bought from the store.

In Kristanlynn.com some people talk about how you are not supposed to use baby oil on your eyes…and to me I am like really. my old bottle i purchased from the store has ingredients like cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, poloxamer 182, tripotassim EDTA, benzalkonium choloride, dipotassium phosphate…and people are worried about baby oil. which the only ingredient was mineral oil.

hmmmm…well i am not a dr. so if you wish do your own research.

I can still see.
