I love a good cobb salad…

and anything with fall I pretty much want to try.

the combination of apples & pears…bacon & eggs..leggings & brown boots…me & this salad…

I saw the recipe at Damn Delicious … check out her beautiful photos of this salad. YUM.

I loved how she layered the salad toppings across the lettuce. so that was why I used my baking dish to serve the salad in.

my nice salad bowl is filled with fruit right now so I improvised.


plus it was nice to serve this way so the boys could pick out which toppings they wanted…they left the nuts and craisins for me.


harvest cobb salad


  • 4 slices bacon broken into pieces
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 pear, diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • poppyseed dressing


  1. Place romaine lettuce in a large serving bowl. Top with bacon, eggs, apple, pear, pecans, cranberries and goat cheese. Serve immediately with poppy seed dressing.
