Ingredients

  • 2 cooked chicken breasts (shredded)
  • 1 17oz. jar salsa verde
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 heaped teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (i used mexican blend not with the spices though)
  • wonton wrappers (about 16)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with silpat or parchment paper....this will make for easier clean up.

In a bowl mix the chicken, salsa verde, sour cream, chili powder, garlic powder and cumin. Place the wonton wrappers on the baking sheet and place about 1 Tablespoon of the mixture on each wonton and sprinkle with the shredded cheese. I have a photo above on what they should look like.

Bring two opposite corners up and using a little water stick them together.

Bake for 4-5 minutes or until wontons get crispy. Watch so you don't burn them.

Enjoy!

These look fantastic! And while they are definitely perfect football food, they’re good for snackin’ any time, so I’m glad you posted them!
