chicken verde wonton tacos
- 2 cooked chicken breasts (shredded)
- 1 17oz. jar salsa verde
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 heaped teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (i used mexican blend not with the spices though)
- wonton wrappers (about 16)
|Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with silpat or parchment paper....this will make for easier clean up. |
In a bowl mix the chicken, salsa verde, sour cream, chili powder, garlic powder and cumin. Place the wonton wrappers on the baking sheet and place about 1 Tablespoon of the mixture on each wonton and sprinkle with the shredded cheese. I have a photo above on what they should look like.
Bring two opposite corners up and using a little water stick them together.
Bake for 4-5 minutes or until wontons get crispy. Watch so you don't burn them.
