so i am gonna be right up front with you.
i don’t even like hollandaise sauce *gasp*
so why i am i sharing this…my husband loves it.
i think he would eat this on about everything.
so that is why i share this you all.
3 egg yolks
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
pinch cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1. Add the egg yolks, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and salt to blender. Blend till they are completely mixed together.
2. Melt butter. While butter is still hot drizzle butter into blender while blender is still running. Blend until mixture is thick & creamy.
Per Ina Garten, “You can leave it in the blender at room temperature for up to 1 hour. If it is made in advance, add 1 tablespoon hot tap water and blend for a few seconds before serving.”
